Hey trinity alliance,
I'm not sure if it has been officially declared by the War Council (from a quick review, our /as rules do not reflect it on trinitialliance.com), but we've decided to open up the alliance chat considerably. For the time being, just about anything goes.
The game has changed considerably since the original alliance chat rules, as you all know. The primary rvr information takes place in /bg chats, and /asend has become a secondary venue for that information. As such, we'd like to loosen up with /asend and make it a little less formal.
SOME THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
This alliance is still a fair size. As such, you'll be potentially sending a lot of people when you use /asend.
Be polite, please. Let's be positive minded and supportive of our brethren alliance members. Please refrain from (excessive) whining, insults to realm members, and similar negative or hate comments.
Conversations between two people still do not belong in /asend. Use tells for that, please.
PLEASE NOTE
Other War Council members may chime in here and modify this post.

RVR Chat Recommendations
- Create a BG or CG - it helps everyone know what is going on, where they might be most helpful, and helps to see who is looking for groups.
- Create an additonal BG or CG as needed for specific tasks like tower takes, keep takes, or specific defensive or offensive RVR tasks. When the task is finished disband the BG/CG or announce a new purpose for continuing.
- Avoiding being /anon if you have the BG/CG. /who CG and /who BG commands won't list you and then people need to ask in /as who has the chat.
- Avoid redundent BG or CG's for realm-wide RvR information unless their purposes are specifically different. Confusion and information redundency should be avoided.
/as Offenders - Line in the sand
The rules are loose as a goose but even so members being disrespective, verbally abusive, or overly using sexual or profanity words in /as will be censured.
- /as Abusers should be talked to privately.
- Guild leaders and War Council member's have the responsibility to enforce /as rules.
- Each guild is held responsible for any members using /as inappropriately. Ultimately, if a guild is in repeated, constant violation War Council members of the remaining guilds will call a vote to determine if the guild will remain in the alliance.
