Forums Downtime

Today's and Last Saturdays downtime on the forums was the product of a denial of service attack on the forums IP/Box. Thought the first time was a bad NIC but with todays happenings we now know it was not and have taken steps to tighten up the firewall and emailed the ISP's of said hosts with packet capture logs.

Second Downtime - September 23 6PM - 8PM

Due to an error our ISP made we were unable to complete the relocation last night. We're going to move the servers again tonight from 6-8PM EST. The servers are having a great time riding from one location to another and hope this will be their last trip this evening so they can settle into their new home.
Thanks for bearing with us while we get everything relocated.

Site and Forums Downtime September 22, 5PM - 9PM EST

We'll be moving the servers to their new home on the evening of September 22nd. The move will occur starting as early as 5PM and will be done by 9PM EST. These are estimated times and we hope to have them down an up much more quickly but we wanted to give this four hour window to be safe.
The servers for the forums and web sites are moving to a new home. The new location is ready and all we're doing is unplugging, transporting and hooking them up at the new site at this time. Our hope is that the move goes smoothly. Thanks in advance to Bad Mojo and Darcstar for all their help in preparing the new home for our servers.

Scheduled Site and Forum Downtime

The home of Tristanalliance.com and the forums will be moving shortly. We have an expected down time of one to two hours for the physical move of the machines which host these services. The forums machine is also due for an upgrade and will possibly be down for as long as six hours. At this point the move will occurr sometime between Sunday, September 19th and Friday, September 24th.
We'll give more updates here when we know an exact time. Thanks for your paitence as we move our servers into a new home!

Triniti Alliance #1

Congratulations to all the guilds in the Triniti Alliance on being the number one alliance in the server again. Historically the Triniti alliance has held the number one spot for much of the history of the Tristan server but was passed some months ago by the Excalibur Alliance.
At this point there are only six other alliances across all the US servers that have more realm points combined than the Triniti alliance. Congratulations to all the members of the alliance for helping make us so successful.

Clan Maylstryx no longer in the Alliance

Over the past few months Clan Maylstryx failed to meet the requirements of the Alliance in the area of active War Council representation. Due to these unfortunate circumstances they have been removed from the Alliance. In the future Clan Maylstryx may reapply when they can fulfill the requirements.

Forums planned outage 4/12 6PM - 8PM

We'll be taking down the machine that hosts the forums for this site tonight around 6PM EST to give the box a nice hardware upgrade and do some maintenance on the forums as well. Hopefully with these changes we'll see faster response times on page requests. The web site will not go down and we don't expect this to take more than two hours. Thanks for bearing with us as we work to improve performance.

Please join me in a congratulating Atabishi on being Tristan's first player to reach Realm Rank 10 Level 10. How many realm points is that? It's a whopping 8,208,750. If each kill awarded an average of 200 realm points that means Atabishi has killed over 41,000 enemies, amazing!

Hibernia and the alliance extends a big congratulations to Atabishi on being the first character to reach realm rank ten on the Tristan server in Hibernia and the second on the server ever. At 5,974,125 realm points earned it represents an amazing dedication to RvR.
